I heard Karamo speaking on Elvis Duran this week and what he was saying hit me. So I quickly went on amazon and bought the book, I usually only read Sci-Fi but I have been having a rough go of things lately and this book really struck a chord. I appreciated the candid frank descriptions of Karamo's stuggles and how he was able to overcome and heal. RUN to read this book

Haven’t even started the book yet, mainly because the pages are all stuck together. Some of the pages are now frayed from me trying to get them apart. I love amazon, but I frequently receive books that have marks or damage to them when I purchase them brand new.

I really enjoyed learning such an honest backstory to such a great man. It was a quick but thoughtful read, and it really got me thinking about my own life. #wouldreccomend

I feel so inspired by this amazing book! I really feel like I know Karamo now. He was so honest about his life. I can't believe what he has been through—from addictions to abusive relationships—and that makes the great advice he gives about how to get through the hard parts of life even better, because I know now that he has been through so many hard times himself. He is even more inspirational on the page than he is in Queer Eye, because he can really devote space to various issues and subjects that he's passionate about. This book is staying right on my bedside table so I can turn to it whenever I need to feel better.
